temp info

During the process of mining, highly contaminated mine and quarry waters are formed. The composition of mine waters is characterized by a wide variety of contaminants, thus the application of such waters for technical purposes or discharge into the water bodies without preliminary treatment is prohibited. DYCLAR technology clarifies mine waters to match the quality parameters of basins used for fisheries.

We guarantee high quality of treated water, regardless of its initial state, long service life of equipment, as well as reduced operating costs and ease of maintenance. In addition, DYCLAR provides a modular design option that allows for equipment mobility.

(MMK COAL LLC) mining water treatment plant / 2021

Chertinskaya-Koksovaya Coal Mine

The project met environmental goals of decreasing effluent suspended solids content from 350-400 mg/l to 0.2 mg/l as well as water reuse. The portion of treated effluent is now recycled and used for coal mining (including water use for coal washing, and cooling of drilling equipment), and the rest is discharged to the Chert river.

Alardinskaya Coal Mine

The Alardinskaya Coal Mine project modernized the existing process and stormwater treatment facilities and increased capacity of the filtration pump station. The enhanced process is described below:

the wastewater undergoes solids and colloidal matter removal by Dyclar dynamic clarifiers, and prior to its discharge into the clean-water reservoir, the clarified effluent is disinfected.

Portion of the treated effluent is reused in the mining process while the remaining water is discharged to the Alarda River. The effluent quality complies with regulations for treated wastewater discharge into the fishery-type basins.

Alardinskaya Coal Mine treatment plant retrofit project helped to double the pumping and filtering capacity and improved water and wastewater treatment efficiency.

Kibrinsky Open-Pit Mine

Quarry Water Treatment Plant

Kibrinsky Open-Pit Mine effluent is discharged to Bolshoye Lake which is a Category 1 fishery basin and is supervised by Yeniseyrybovod Federal State Budgetary Institution. The implementation of DYCLAR Dynamic Clarification process allowed to meet effluent suspended solids requirements of 3 mg/l, which is a significant improvement from effluent suspended solids of 32.3 mg/l prior to construction.

Denisovskiy Coal Preparation Complex

Kolmar Coal Mining Company & Mine Water Treatment Plant 2020

The project implemented a polishing step for mine water treatment that allowed to meet regulations of effluent discharge to the fishery-type basins. The implementation of Dyclar 2.0 process allowed the Plant to significantly reduce the cost of ownership by increasing treatment capacity via an integrated two-flow dynamic clarification operation. The water treatment facility also implemented water reuse principles where the sludge is sent to the settling basins and the water is supplied to the Denisovskaya Coal Preparation Plant.

(MMK COAL LLC) Waste water polishing plant / 2019

Kostromovskaya Coal Mine

Prior to DYCLAR integration, the facility mine water was undergoing purification treatment in the outdated clarifiers. These clarifiers failed to reach the effluent suspended solids requirement of 40 mg/l, discharging water with suspended solids content of 131 mg/l.

Thanks to the DYCLAR process design, the turbidity and suspended solids content in the effluent were reduced to 0.05-0.1 mg/l and to less than 3 mg/l respectively. The developed solution also accounts for winter temperatures of the effluent waters that reaches temperatures as low as 3°C.
